Secret Recipe's very own marble cheese cake beat out more than 5,200 outlets from 158 bakeries across China to make the top 10 in Shanghai. – January 29, 2016.Secret Recipe's very own marble cheese cake has made it to the top 10 list of best cakes in Shanghai, China, as voted by users of Dianping.com, the country's biggest restaurant rating website.
In a three-week campaign run from November to December in 2015, 190 million active users cast over seven million votes to select the top 10 best cakes in their respective cities, Secret Recipe said today.
The Malaysian cafe chain's marble cheese cake beat out more than 5,200 outlets from 158 bakeries across China to make the top 10 in Shanghai.
Currently, there are over 100 Secret Recipe outlets in China.
Malaysian-born Secret Recipe has over 450 outlets in the region to date, in countries such as Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Cambodia.
The chain will soon make its way to the Maldives, it said. – January 29, 2016.
