The hotel’s opening next month will make it the first Oasia property outside of Singapore and is expected to bring in fierce competition among mid-tier priced tourist accommodations in Kuala Lumpur.

“Malaysia is the prime gateway for FEH’s growing portfolio and sees a total of 257 million tourist arrivals per year, making it a natural choice for Oasia’s first foray outside of Singapore,” said Arthur Kiong, FEH chief executive officer.

FEH owns nine brands of hotels, serviced residences and apartment hotels in the region.

The new hotel in KL boasts 247 rooms, consisting mostly of suites that include a kitchenette, washing machine and dryer, and is located in a uniquely quiet and leafy part of bustling Kuala Lumpur – just adjacent to the KL Forest Eco Park and a stone’s throw from the iconic KL Tower.

The hotel is expected to open its doors to guests on April 18 and room rates will start at RM400++ per night for deluxe rooms.

However, the hotel is offering special pre-opening promotional rates at 50% off for bookings made from now until June 30.
