Nintendo releases original Pokemon games for 20th birthday

Designed for virtual console on Nintendo 3DS, Pokemon Red, Pokemon Blue and Pokemon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition feature the classic graphics and music seen in the originals released nearly 20 years ago.

However, in a modern twist, players can now trade and battle Pokemon in 2D using local wireless on the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
