Just one tax on top of another tax, shake it off like the rakyat supposed to do

All the big money in all the wrong places
I see the gomen fixing that 1MDB
We know that thing is in real mess

If you got huge debt, just raise 'em up or bail ‘em out
'Cause every inch of corruption and leakage ain’t punished
From the bottom to the top
Yeah, my gomen told me don't worry about the debt
They say, form this committee and that committee
Don’t ask 106 questions or put up a fight
If that's what's you're into
Then go ahead and get arrested for sedition

The opposition is weak

Hey, I'm just wondering when you would stop fighting among yourself
I’m here to tell you that GST raises our cost of living by the hundreds
Every inch of our salary is squeezed and we can forget about savings
Yeah, my gomen told me not to worry about that inflation
Everything increases except my salary
But you know it’s fine if you still want to focus on hudud, local election or kita lawan.

If that's what's you're into
Then go ahead and forget about our votes

The MPs, activists, and journalists are harassed
Gomen and police are showing no tolerance
Petrol increase, mamak increase, diapers increase
We can’t do anything
But pay, pay, and pay
Yeah, my gomen told me not to worry about anything
But we keep having less money, paying more taxes, and public transport still sucks
If we pay more, we expect more
Education, infrastructure, transportation, these better be improved
We can sacrifice for the nation to make progress
But gomen better not betray our trust and money
Opposition faster wake up from sleep
Rakyat is squeezed left and right
But we can call upon no one to protect our wallet, let alone our rights
